strike-conan-obrien_l Mar 13 (Pen Men at Work): Conan O’Brian, popular American television host and comedian has announced a 30-city comedy tour starting from April 12th. O’Brian, apart from being a television host and comedian, is also a writer and has written for Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons.

The name of his show is called “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour” and tickets of the show are already selling out. Conan claims, “ Each show will be a ‘night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”

O’Brian who was removed as the host The Tonight Show BY NBC is said to be helping around 40 employees of the show who were jobless after his removal from it. It seems that all of those staff are making good money as tickets of the show are selling like hot cakes even before it has started. O’Brian will hit major cities across the country and Canada with the show and will be back in on April 24.

There are speculations that Andy Richter and Max Weinberg will accompany O’Brien on the tour.

I’m glad to see Connan cares for his ex show crew. With all the bonus money he had gotten, and all this time on his hands, (Just a thought) maybe he should buy up Katrina damaged property, supply jobs buy rebuilding a home 10′-14′ higher on pilers(or what ever the flood rules are) and resell the property for the cost of labor and material. This would rebuild the damaged area and provide a jobs.
