Mar 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Conan O’Brien has been busy Twittering away since he left the “Tonight Show.” The late night show which he was hosting has gone back to their former host, Jay Leno. After negotiations over time slots and such were conducted for several months, Conan stepped out, leaving the way wide open for Jay. Conan then decided to open a Twitter account, and quickly accrued thousands of followers. He now has over half a million, and growing.

Conan himself, however, was a reclusive Twitterer who did not follow anyone else…at all. With all of the thousands of followers he had, he was not following anyone, until he suddenly made the decision to randomly pick a person. He looked, and found Sarah, and then posted to his Twitter account, “I’ve decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change.”

Since then, Sarah has went from having three followers to having over 20,000. When Conan posted his announcement, Sarah began to gain followers at a rate of about 150 per minute. She is suddenly an online star and is still coming to terms with it all.

The 19 year old Twitterer, whose Twitter name is LovelyButton has gotten an iMac as a gift from a Florida business man and a wedding dress donated by a designer in New York. She and her fiancée, John Slowik Jr. are saving money for a wedding, but so far they do not have much. Sarah retweeted a post from Conan about 14 hours ago which read, OMG! My pal Sarah got bumped from Larry King for something called “Breaking News”. Has the whole world gone insane?!” Her current post reads “I would seriously take a job shoveling horse poo right now, anything to help get us out of here and on our own.”

Sarah’s response to it all? “It’s totally nuts.” John now wants Conan to be the best man at their wedding.
