March 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Shruti Haasan has been creating waves not only in Bollywood but also in the South. She had composed the music for “Unnaipol Oruvan’ which garnered her a lot of appreciation and is currently working on a Telegu movie.

She has also signed a Tamil movie now, but not as a composer. With this new venture, this pretty damsel will be marking her debut in Tamil cinema, and that too, with none other AR Murugadoss himself. After the tremendous success of Ghajini, Murugadoss is all set for his latest project with one of the biggest production houses in the South starring Shruti and Suriya.

When we tried contacting Shruti, she wasn’t available for comment.

Sources reveal that the music composer for the film is Harris Jayaraj and the cinematographer is Ravi K Chandran. Udhayanidhi Stalin will be producing this Dravidian flick.

Suriya, who will soon be making his debut in Bollywood, had worked with Murugadoss on Ghajini which was a humongous success. Many anticipate the team to deliver another smashing hit on the lines of their previous endeavor. The work on this much awaited film will start this April.
