Compensation to Thilakan by AMMA
March 15th, 2010 - 7:13 pm ICT by Sampurn WireMarch 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Veteran actor Thilakan and AMMA fought for over a month. The argument neared a settlement after Thilakan sent them a letter and AMMA decided to give him a second chance.
AMMA had forbidden Thilakan from acting in Malayalam films. Thilakan also lost out on a role from a Hollywood film, Dam 999, because of all the confusion and ongoing controversy. However, AMMA has agreed to compensate Rs. 7 lakhs for losing out on the role.
Thilakan has accepted the compensation and has offered to give an explanation to AMMA.
