Comic writer Stan Lee receives Hollywood star

LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) — Comic book writer Stan Lee, creator of Spiderman, Fantastic Four, and X-Men, among several others, on Tuesday received a star in Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame, local media reported.

Stanley Martin Lieber, better known as Stan Lee, who just tuned 88 last week, of New York City, throughout his career has most notably worked with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko to create famous comic book characters, which also include Iron Man, Hulk, and the Avengers.

On Tuesday, the comic guru received Hollywood Boulevard’s 2,428th star in front of the Live Nation Building.

Lee, who founded POW! Entertainment, is Chairman Emeritus of Marvel Enterprises and a member of the editorial board of Marvel Comics. He has had his comics translated into 25 languages and sold in 75 countries.
