Comedy Central All Set To Entertain The Audiences With Animated Series “Ugly Americans”

Nov.19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American cable television channel Comedy Central is all set to showcase a new animated series ‘Ugly Americans’ which is scheduled to premiere in the month of March next year. ‘Ugly Americans’ is basically an animated venture which mainly focuses on an different universe in New York City. The animated series revolves around the life of a social worker Mark Willy, who works in the Department of Immigration.
The half hour show would have a distinct storyline and a host of interesting characters including creatures from horror, science fiction who would be living as normal citizens in the heart of the New York City. The story proceeds as the human character of Mark takes initiative to help the new citizens adapt and get used to their new and alien environment. The original concept of the show has been given by Devin Clark, who also acts as the producer with Augenblick Studios in New York looking after the animation part. The show has been developed and produced by David Stern who is also the producer of the popular show “The Simpsons”.
In a press release that was issued recently, Lauren Corrao the president, original programming and development has declared that the production of the pilot episode has already began and the new show is basically an spun off from the comedycentral.com series 5-On. Lauren also emphasized that the show would surely be able to strike a chord with the viewers as it would provide them with an opportunity to laugh their hearts out and ensure that they have a good time.
