Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) Comedian Sunil Pal, who rose to fame after his outstanding performance on STAR One’s reality show “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge”, turns director with “Bhavanao Ko Samjho”. He is also writing, producing and penning down the lyrics. The film was launched Friday at Visag Studio and was attended by yesteryear’s ace comedian Jagdeep.

“I want to express my feelings as a writer, director, actor and a lyricist with ‘Bhavanao Ko Samjho’ so I have taken the whole task of making the film,” said Sunil who is also acting in the film.

The film will be an out and out comedy consisting of 52 comedians from the “Laughter Challenge Show” as well as other talents from the industry. Sunil has roped in Navin Prabhakar, Raju Shrivastav, Ehsaan Qureshi, Deepak Raja and Rauf Lala from the show.

The key attraction of the film will be the icon of comedy Johny Lever who is playing an important role.

“My role is very interesting as I play the head of a marriage bureau. His sole aim is to take money from his customers and let things happen,” said Johny.

“I think the script is simply fantastic and people will really have a nice time,” he added.

Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant will feature in a song in the film, said Sunil.
