Aug 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous comedian and actor Martin Short’s wife, actress Nancy Dolman has died on Saturday. The news of the death of the 58-year-old actress was confirmed to media sources by both the representative and manager of Martin Shorts. On Monday, Martin Short’s representative Camille Kuznetz confirmed the news in a brief statement where she declared, “Sadly, we can confirm that Martin Short’s wife did pass away”. However, the representative held that there are no further comments to be made in this regard. The representative declined to divulge the cause of death and the place of death of Nancy Dolman.

However, some media sources have come up with reports that Nancy Dolman breathed her last at the couple’s Pacific Palisades home on Saturday morning and that she was suffering from cancer. As per sources, Nancy Dolman was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. The Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey told to media sources that it received an emergency medical help call from Martin Short’s Pacific Palisades home. However, nobody was transported to the hospital from the house by the paramedics that hint at the fact that the Nancy Dolman might have expired in her residence. A spokesman of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said to media sources the department does not have any record of Nancy Dolman’s death which points to the fact that the actress’ death was not a sudden, unexpected or unnatural one.

Nancy Dolman is survived by her husband Martin Short, the couple’s three children and the other family members. The actress’s brief acting career included recurring appearances on TV’s “Soap” during the 1980s. However, she gave up her profession to raise her three children as per media sources.
