Sep 28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American comedian and actor George Lopez seems to have landed himself into trouble with his wife. The publicist of the actor reportedly said that the “Lopez Tonight” host and her wife Ann Lopez are finally ending their 17 years of marriage. A reputed media source reported that the couple has made a harmonious decision to part their ways. The publicist of the actor refused to comment anything regarding the split to the media.

George Lopez and his wife reportedly released a joint statement where it was maintained that the decision taken by the couple is “amicable” and they will file for a divorce with mutual agreement. However, the report also read that George Lopez and Ann Lopez will remain dedicated parents of their child and will also be the committed partners in their business and their “philanthropic” organization named “The Lopez Foundation”. George Lopez and Ann Lopez have a daughter Mayan Lopez, 15.

The media outlets are abuzz with the news of the split. However, no source could provide any specific detail if the couple has filed for any petition for divorce yet. Neither the actor nor his wife has commented anything in public about their reported split yet. The talk show host and his wife have been working out on details for calling it quits for a long time, a source close the couple reportedly said. It came as a shocking news to the media as the couple was spotted together just few days before at Padres el Contra Cancers 25th Anniversary and they looked happy together. The couple hogged limelight back in 2005 when Ann Lopez donated one of her kidneys to her husband.
