Comedian David Frye Passes Away At 77

David FryeLas Vegas, Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Comedian David Frye, who attained wide fame in the 1960’s and the 70’s for his perfect impressions of a number of noted political personalities including United States President Richard Nixon, passed away in Las Vegas earlier this week, his family has confirmed. The news of the highly-acclaimed comedy artist’s demise was affirmed by his family through a statement that was released on Saturday. David Frye breathed his last on Monday after suffering from a cardiopulmonary arrest, as per the statement. The renowned comedian was 77 at the time of his unfortunate death.

A representative from the Nevada based Clark County coroner’s office has affirmed that David Frye left for the heavenly abode on January 24 at his home in Las Vegas owing to a cardiopulmonary arrest. Although the fact that the popular comedy artist is no more has been confirmed by his family, details about his funeral arrangements has not be released to the media outlets. The news of David Frye’s demise has indeed left his fans highly disappointed as they are surely going to miss his exaggerated political impressions, which shot the comedian to instant fame in the 1960’s and 70’s.

While talking about his deceased brother, David Frye’s sister Ruth Welch told a reputed news source on Saturday that the comedian was a born genius who wrote his own comic material as he had ‘an eye for people’s movements and an ear for their voices.’ The 77-year-old comedy artist’s sister also added that her brother developed the art of impersonating others with perfection during their growing up years in Brooklyn, New York where he used to imitate their neighbors.
