Washington, Jan 19 (ANI): A whole slew of stars, including Colin Farrell, Seth Rogen and director Darren Aronofsky, have prompted a censorship investigation of the 2009 Golden Globe Awards” telecast for making offensive remarks.

The awards, which hit television screens on January 11, saw Farrell and Rogen making jokes about cocaine, reports Contactmusic.

On the other hand, Aronofsky was caught giving actor Mickey Rourke the middle finger.

According to The Los Angeles Times, 18 complaints were filed against the NBC telecast, which led the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to launch an investigation.

The FCC “is reviewing the program for possible violations of indecency rules… after receiving multiple complaints,” reports the newspaper. (ANI)
