London, Feb 16 (ANI): Coldplay will be among the three headliners at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in Somerset.
The band will play the main Pyramid Stage on Saturday 25 June at Worthy Farm, Pilton, reports the BBC.
Organiser Michael Eavis said: “This is the triumphant return of a band that everyone here feels part of.”
Coldplay headlined the same stage in 2005, having also done so in 2002.
Beyonce’s record company has announced that she is also set to play a headline slot and U2, who had to pull out of the 2010 event, are expected to be the third headliners. (ANI)
