London, Oct 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The English band Coldplay has released their fifth studio album. The new album which is titled “Mylo Xyloto” was released worldwide on the 24th of October. The album is predicted to be a hit because some of the tracks are already climbing charts throughout the world.

The group announced the name of the album last August with several fans wondering what it meant. The last album of the band was released in 2008. Titled “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends,” the album ended that year as the top-selling album with almost 7 million copies of the album sold worldwide that year.

Lead singer Chris Martin explained that the band had to change their strategy to be relevant again with regards the latest album.

In a recent interview which was carried before the release of the album, Martin who is married to Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow said that, “We have to have the energy to put as much effort into our work as they do. If it’s over, it’s over and I can live with that. The most important thing always is to proceed as if every album is the last and not expect anything more.”

Some of the tracks on the album include “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” and “Paradise” which were released ahead of the album. There are 14 tracks on the album which goes on sale in the United States on Tuesday because of the time difference with the United Kingdom.
