London, Jan 2 (IANS) English rock band Coldplay has raised $406,600 for charity through its end-of-decade clearout sale.
The band put a load of old instruments, costumes and memorabilia up for sale on eBay over Christmas, thesun.co.uk reported.
Band members Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion saw some frantic last-minute bidding.
All the money from the sale is going to Coldplay’s favourite charity, Kids Company, which supports underprivileged inner-city youngsters.
