‘Coffee Bar’ with extremist backdrop
September 18th, 2009 - 7:14 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
Generally, in normal parlance, “Coffee Bar’ is a place where the people meet to have a casual discussion. But there are instances where several plots would be made by the terrorists at such places. We can also find discussions on politics and other such issues that haunt the society. Gitakrishna is making a film highlighting all these issues in his own direction, with Sashank, Biyanka Desai and Atul Kulkarni in the lead. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. The director says, “Our storyline would begin with a youth coming from the village to the nearby city with a view to raise to a certain level. For him, earning money, besides name and fame is the target. Did he able to achieve what he wanted could be seen only on the screen. Especially the mind game aspect would attract the audiences.”
