CNN’s John King Replaces Dobbs In A Political Program

king2Nov.13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Noted American journalist John King is all set to replace Lou Dobbs in the 7p.m time slot in CNN network from early next year. The decision was taken after Dobbs, who used to host the 7p.m hour, declared that he would be resigning from the network when he was on air last evening.

Jon Klein, the President of the CNN network announced on Thursday that the vacant time slot would be occupied by John King- who already hosts the Sunday show “State of the Union” on the network. It was also revealed that the show with the new anchor would be aired from early next year and it would be a political program, projecting the political events of significance taking place across the world. The program would be one of the major highlights of the news network and apart from focusing on the major political happenings of the hour, it would also take into account opinions and views from across the political scenario.

John King is among the most acclaimed reporters in CNN who has been working with the network since the year 1997. Over the years, King has established himself as a veteran journalist and has impressed the viewers with his wide ranging political knowledge as well as grasp over the current affairs. The noted reporter is supposedly delighted about the new opportunity and had emphasized that the new program would give him a platform to address issues and events. At the same time, it would provide detailed analysis and expert opinions that would cater to the needs of the common people.
