- Boston, Nov 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) CNN has announced that John King will replace Lou Dobbs after he suddenly resigned on his Wednesday’s show.
John King is currently a reporter for the 24-7 cable news network, and will take over as host of a new political show in 2010, as a replacement for Lou Dobbs.
According to Jonathan Klein, president of CNN/US, “King’s new program would reflect what CNN is all about: straight facts from our anchors and the widest range of opinions from across the political spectrum.”
John King is a very capable host of the Sunday’s political shows “State of the Union.” No clear word is available on whether John King would host his original show after he got the new hosting duties.
“There is a lot of noise and conflict in our political discourse, which is fun to cover, but I’m convinced from my travels that people also thirst for more details as well as insight and context,” King said.
