CMA Awards 2010: Miranda Lambert And Lady Antebellum Lead Nomination List

miranda-lambertNov 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 44th Annual Country Music Awards will air next Wednesday, 10 November and Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be hosting the show for the third time together. With Country Music fans eagerly anticipating the big day, it looks like some of the biggest names in the country music industry will be seen performing at the event. The promotional videos of the CMAs 2010 have been released on the web and it features interviews of the hosts. It also provides an insight about what to expect on the year’s biggest night for country music.

Performing onstage will be Kelly Clarkson with Jason Aldean for the first time. Reports suggest that other big stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Taylor Swift and Blake Shelton will also be taking to the stage for their performances. This year the nominations have been swept by Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum who seemed to have burst into the country music scene in recent years.

Miranda Lambert leads the nominations with as many as 9. She has bagged nominations in all the major categories in the CMAs this year which includes ‘The Single of the Year’ and ‘Music Video of the Year’. Her songs ‘White Liar’ and ‘The House That Built Me’ have been the most sought after singles in the award nominations. She is followed by Lady Antebellum who has bagged 5 nominations courtesy her raging hit ‘Need You Know’. The two young singers will be competing each other in the ‘Entertainer of the Year’ category which also has Keith Urban, Brad Paisley in the list of nominations. The event will be broadcast live on ABC at 8pm on November 10.
