Clooney to produce another play-based movie
June 19th, 2012 - 3:22 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, June 19 (IANS) Actor George Clooney will produce movie adaptation of the award winning play “August: Osage County” along with business partner Grant Heslov.
Tracy Letts’ play won the Tony Award and its movie version will see Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts as mother and daughter, reports contactmusic.com
The movie will be directed by John Wells.
Clooney and Heslov have previously tasted success with the movie “The Ides of March”, which was an adaptation of Willimon’s 2008 play “Farragut North”.
