Clooney recovers from malaria
January 21st, 2011 - 11:42 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Jan 21 (IANS) Hollywood superstar George Clooney has completely recovered from his recent bout of malaria, said his representative. The actor had fallen ill with the mosquito-borne disease while filming a campaign to promote democracy in Sudan.
“George is completely over the malaria he contracted while in the Sudan during the first week in January. This was his second bout with it. This illustrates how, with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa can be reduced to a bad 10 days instead of a death sentence,” people.com quoted the representative as saying.
