Clio Awards 2010 Announced
May 30th, 2010 - 7:47 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkMay 30, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The ceremony of giving away the Clio awards was hosted at the SkyLight Soho, New York City. The awards were given away for both the print as well as the electronic media. The prominent actor John Michael Higgins played the part of a host at the award function. Print, Direct Mail, Billboard and Poster were some of the categories included in the print media. Television, Cinema, Digital, Radio were the categories for the electronic media.
The School of Visual Arts, New York and the Y & R South Africa were announced as the winners in the Billboard and Direct Mail categories respectively. Gorgeous Enterprises of London achieved a place in the Hall of Fame for its Tag for Nike.
The print media obtained a total of 64 medals in all. The medals were further divided into 14 gold, 20 silver and 30 bronze ones which helped to distinguish the nature of excellence. Prolam Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Brasil, AlmapBBDO and CLM BBDO were some of the prominent gold winners.
