Clint Eastwood wants to direct films even after 100
October 25th, 2010 - 2:38 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 25 (IANS) Hollywood filmmaker Clint Eastwood has no plans to retire anytime soon and hopes to direct until 100.
“I’m always sort of shocked when directors retire,” express.co.uk quoted 80-year-old Eastwood as saying. “I figure your best years should be at a point when you’ve got a lot of so-called knowledge.
“There’s a Portuguese director, Manoel de Oliveira who’s still making films and he’s over 100. I plan to do the same,” he added.
