Clint Eastwood to continue directing at 100
October 25th, 2010 - 1:54 pm ICT by ANILondon, Oct 25 (ANI): Producer and director Clint Eastwood has now announced that he hopes to continue directing if he makes it to his 100th year.
The 80-year-old Oscar-winning icon insisted that retirement is of no interest to him; he wants to work behind the camera for two more decades at least.
“I’m always sort of shocked when directors retire,” the Daily Express quoted Eastwood as saying.
“I figure your best years should be at a point when you’ve got a lot of so-called knowledge.
“There’s a Portuguese director, Manoel de Oliveira, who’s still making films and he’s over 100. I plan to do the same,” Eastwood added. (ANI)
