Clint Eastwood to compose music for John Cusacks new movieDecember 3rd, 2007 - 4:46 pm ICT by admin
Washington, Dec 3 (ANI): Clint Eastwood decided to score music for the new flick Grace is Gone after both producer Harvey Weinstein and the film’s star John Cusack urged him to do so.
The two-time Academy Award-winning film director has given music for his own films, therefore Weinstein and Cusack tentatively approached the Eastwood to help them.
“It was Harvey’s idea. He said, `What do you think if we ask Clint to do it?’ And I said, `Why not?’ Contactmusic quoted Cusack, as saying.
I’ve thrown a hail Mary before. I threw one for Bruce Springsteen when I was doing High Fidelity and he said, `Yes.’
“I don’t understand why people don’t do that more. The worst thing they can do is turn you down. So Harvey called Clint and then I called him. He had seen the film and he really, really loved it,” Cusack added. (ANI)
