Clint Eastwood quits acting
December 10th, 2009 - 3:19 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Dec 10 (ANI): American actor Clint Eastwood has revealed that he is done with acting and would like to spend the rest of his professional life behind the camera.
Eastwood, 79, had last year announced that ‘Gran Torino’ was his final film as a leading man, and while appearing on golfing pal George Lopez’s chat show on December 8 he confirmed his decision.
“I’m done… You never know where a good story comes from but I’m a senior here (and) you get to a certain stage and you think, ‘Why not just stand behind the camera?’” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“Nobody’s fooling with you, nobody’s wanting to put make-up, do your collar, all that kind of stuff,” he added. (ANI)
