London, Sep 21 (ANI): Sir Cliff Richard reunited with his band ‘The Shadows’ this weekend for the fist time after 20 years, wearing his trademark shocking pink jacket.

The legendary artist, who ruled the British music scene in the 50s and early 60s, wore a jacket similar to the one he first wore 47 years ago.

And this time he matched his jacket with an even brighter sequined pink tie as he sang with Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett.

Cliff, who will be 69 next month, dazzled a packed audience with some energetic dances in Killarney, Ireland.

The Golden Anniversary tour of UK and Ireland marks Cliff and the band’s 50 years in the music industry with old favourites such as ‘Summer Holiday’, ‘The Young Ones’, ‘Living Doll’ and ‘Bachelor Boy’.

The Shadows played for nearly three hours, backed by an eagerly awaited new album.

“The album sounds like the old Cliff and The Shadows - only better! It consists mainly of new versions of our original material with three tracks we’ve not recorded before,” the Daily Express quoted Cliff as saying. (ANI)
