Claudia Schiffer reunites with Chanel for new campaign

Chanel boss Karl Lagerfeld picked Schiffer to be the face of the company 20 years ago, a deal hich brought instant fame to the supermodel, reports the Daily Mail.

Now, the German model has returned to front a new campaign for the style guru, who was seen aking personal charge of the three-day photo shoot for Chanel’s ready-to-wear spring collection n St Tropez in the South of France last week.

Schiffer was seen posing on the beach in a variety of outfits, including a see-through gown, an ll-in-one flared cat suit covered in stars and a tightly fitting blue jacket.

At one point, the 37-year-old held an artist’s palette and painted the word Chanel on the bare ack of a male model.

Schiffer who spent five years as the face of Chanel, after Lagerfeld plucked her from obscurity, as replaced in 1996.

Schiffer believes that nowadays models do not enjoy the same fame as before since advertisers ave started to prefer Hollywood actresses and pop stars. (ANI)
