Berlin, Nov 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A greedy German model Edis Kayalar tried to extort $100,000 from Cindy Crawford using provocative photographs of her daughter as bait. He was charged on Thursday according to the German police.

However the blackmail scheme failed miserably and instead backfired on Edis Kayalar when fashion icon Cindy Crawford and her husband, nightclub impresario Rande Gerber, went to the police and spilled the beans.

“Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter,” the power couple’s spokeswoman said in a statement Thursday night.

When the power couple went to the cops then he was picked up by them who later handed him over to the immigration authorities as he was staying in the US illegally. However the story didn’t end there as he emailed them again after 2 months and demanded more money. Till reports last came in, the authorities are searching for him and he hasn’t been arrested as yet.
