Mar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The senior executive to be featured in the latest episode of the popular television series “Undercover Boss” was Bill Carstanjen, the Chief Operating Officer of Churchill Downs Incorporated, in an episode that was aired last night. The latest segment of the hit reality series followed the COO of the corporation, which is best known for its Kentucky Derby, as he takes up the role of a trainer and goes undercover in his own racetracks.

Like most of the previous segments of the television series even last night’s episode was surely successful in generating wide-ranging interest as it witnessed the top executive of the corporation leaving the comfort of his Central Avenue suites and venturing into the racecourse to have a taste of the kind of work that his employees have to undertake every single day. In order to shoot for the episode, Bill Carstanjen visited Churchill Downs Incorporated’s Calder Casino and Race Course in Miami and Arlington Park near Chicago as a track personnel for a period of ten days. In the episode, the COO of the corporation is seen working with a trainer and learning how to care for horses. At the same time, the viewers witness Bill Carstanjen working really hard in the Jockey Quarters where he gets an idea about track maintenance and housekeeping as well as shadowing a track bugler.

In every episode of “Undercover Boss”, a top executive of a company is featured who works as the entry level worker in the company itself with the aim of gaining an idea about the working conditions of its employees.
