Washington, Mar 10 (ANI): The head of the Church of Scientology is desperate to have British soccer star David Beckham and his wife Victoria as followers of the religion, a former Scientologist has claimed.
According to ex-Scientologist Marc Headley, who used to produce promotional films for the controversial religion, leader David Miscavige is very set on enlisting the famous couple.
Miscavige is going so far as to use Hollywood actor and fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise’s star power to entice the Beckhams, by having a wall of photographs of the Cruise family with the Beckhams in his office.
The Scientology leader even tried to get the L.A. Galaxy player to make a guest appearance at the Church’s Gold Base headquarters in Helmet, California, by relaying the soccer field. However, Beckham refused to take up the offer.
“Tom’s a good friend of the Beckhams. The church leader David Miscavige has literally hundreds of pictures of him with Beckham and Victoria and all the kids. They’d love to get them into the religion, Contactmusic quoted Headley as saying.
“There was talk about introducing David to Miscavige. They redid the field with the best turf you could get - just to impress him,” he added. (ANI)

I love Becks. I hope he stays away from that cult.

Scientology is not a cult, sure, we’ve had our problems but we’re sorting them out. Recent leaks of private internal emails to http://www.wikileaks.org/wiki/Citizens_Commission_on_Human_Rights_exposed_as_a_Scientology_front
are shame full, you just can’t trust anyone.

I am thankful that the internet allows us to learn more about this dangerous cult and it’s criminal acts. They are manipulative and deceptive. David Miscavage is not to be trusted and L Ron Hubbard was a fraud.

It’s seems that there are still sheep around that follow each other . If you only really knew who you where putting down you wouldn’t be so out right vicious on something you no nothing about. Do you really believe what the press say? I take it from a rule of thumb that if the press is against some one or something the some one or some thing is OK. The Law couldn’t be that corrupt to let Scientology go on for 60 years with out repercussions. It seems the ones that are hiding from the law like “anonymous” (the front men with crimes they could be arrested for) have got something to hide. You can get a book in most libraries and many locations on the planet on the subject for free or very little money. The subject is as close to a religion as Buddhism and Hinduism but in a more modern and practical sense. Go find out for your selves rather than follow those low lives. don’t be one of the sheep be yourself. and be your own council.
