‘Chuck’ star joins ‘Dexter’
June 14th, 2012 - 6:35 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, June 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Chuck“ actress Yvonne Strahovski will join the serial-killer drama “Dexter” for its seventh season. She will play the role of Hannah McKay in a multi-episode story arc, in which Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), main character the series and his Miami Metro Homicide cohorts ask for her help in solving some old investigation. Dexter begins to wonder if there’s more to her than there seems to be.
Dexter’s sixth season ended with Deb, the protagonist’s sister, played by the actress Jennifer Carpenter, finding out that her brother is in fact a serial killer.
The production of the series’ seventh season began last week. The show’s producers have announced that the first episode of the series’ new season will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 30.
Strahovski rose to fame after playing the role of CIA operative Sarah Walker on the TV series “Chuck.” The actress has also taken part in a number of motion pictures, including the movie “Guilt Trip,” which she co-starred opposite Seth Rogen and the legendary actress and singer Barbara Streisand, and the film “I, Frankenstein”, which Strahovski starred along with the actor Aaron Eckhart.
