Christopher Nolan ropes in Tom Hardy for latest Batman sequel

October 14, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The third installment of Batman is to soon be launched and the shooting is scheduled to be starting sometime in the spring of 2011.

‘Inception’ actor Tom Hardy is also going to be roped in for the third installment, if reports are to be believed. Buzz is that the director, Chris Nolan, had approached the actor for the lead role in the third sequel in the Batman series. Some reports also suggest that Hardy will play the villain’s role in this movie.

Known for his great work in famous flicks like ‘Star Trek’ as Praetor Shinzon and in a power packed role in ‘Inception’ as Eames, Tom Hardy is an actor who is looked up to as a very talented and dedicated star in Hollywood.

Tom has been quite busy recently as he was out in Vancouver shooting for a comedy titled ‘This Means War’. His other upcoming projects include Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and Warrior, and also the action role in Mad Max: Fury Road.

Well, even if his role is being kept under wraps in the Christopher Nolan’s Batman flick which has not been given a formal title as yet, all his fans are eager to see the actor in the movie!
