Christopher Nolan named Director of the year

Washington, Feb 29 (ANI): Director Christopher Nolan will be conferred with the title of Director of the year at the ShoWest movie exhibition.
ShoWest co-managing director Mitch Neuhauser told the Hollywood Reporter that the helmer of upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight is “one of the most talented directors working today whose films consistently achieve both critical acclaim and box office success,”
“His ability to grab hold of an audience from the opening frame and not let go until the very end of each film is a testament to his ability as a master storyteller, Contactmusic quoted Neuhauser, as saying.
The 37-year-old director made his directorial debut with Following in 1999 and is now busy helming Batman sequel The Dark Knight which is set for release on July 18 th .
Nolan will receive the accolade at the closing night banquet of the ShoWest event in Las Vegas. (ANI)
