Christopher Knight files for divorce
August 25th, 2011 - 7:47 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Aug 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Brady Bunch” star Christopher Knight has filed for divorce from wife Adrianne Curry. The 53-year-old star reportedly filed the divorce papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.
Knight and Curry have been married for five years now. The two first met on VH1’s show “The Surreal Life.” After the show which was the fourth season on the network, Knight and Curry had another show on VH1 titled “My Fair Brady.” The series did run for three seasons before it was finally ended by the network in 2008.
The divorce papers cite irreconcilable differences as the reason why Knight filed for the divorce.
29-year-old Curry was on Twitter on Wednesday to shed more light on the divorce. She portrayed that the decision to end the marriage followed a mutual agreement between the two.
She wrote that, “Chris filed cause I TOLD him to. I even announced it the other day :P He paid the 400 fee.”
She came up with another tweet after some time writing, “I feel like people can’t fathom a couple divorcing nicely..we are even having our friends serve each other … mine was on vid … hahaha.”
Knight and Curry have been separated since the 30th of May.
