Dec. 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Brittany Murphy will be having her funeral on Christmas eve, that is on Thursday, Dec. 24, according to the reports of her family and close acquaintances. The funeral will take place in her family home at Forest Lawn. The family has decided that the funeral is going to be a completely private affair. It will be attended only by the family and friends of the deceased actress. Her body had been released by the hospital authorities on Monday, after the autopsy was performed.

Brittany Murphy suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on Sunday in the morning. Her death was caused, as far has been known, by the arrest. However, there has been no concrete reports so far, as the number of prescription drugs that were found in her bedroom after her death created suspicion of foul play. However, no reports have been available so far as the toxicology results have not yet been declared.

The bereaved family has reported that the funeral of Brittany Murphy would be held at the famous Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. Before Brittany Murphy, the other celebrities who had been buried in this place are John Ritter, Lucile Ball, and Bette Davis among others. The funeral being held at such a date is likely to have an effect on the family that would not be obliterated in the years to come. The father of the actress, Angelo Bertolotti, has declared that he would not be attending the funeral. As reason, he has stated that he would prefer not to see his daughter, who he remembers as a lovely, lively woman, that way.
