Los Angeles, Aug 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christine O’Donnell has defended her decision to walk off the show of Piers Morgan saying the CNN anchorman tried to sexually harassed her. She claimed that Morgan wouldn’t have asked the sexual questions that he put to her if she were to be a man.

O’Donnell was on Today Show on Friday where she explained what prompted her walkout. She said that, “It was not about the questions of gay marriages, as the producer very dishonestly tried to portray it. It was … the very inappropriate, creepy line of questioning leading up to that. And I think that I was a very good sport for the first 20 minutes.”

On her account, O’Donnell said she tried to get Morgan to change the line of his questioning but when she realized that was not going to happen, she walked out. O’Donnell launched a failed bid to get into the US Senate from Delaware.

O’Donnell believes that American women are still marginalized against. She is particularly concerned that politicians, especially the Republicans, hold women on double standards. She argued that if someone like Bill Clinton had been in her seat on Morgan’s show, the topic of Monica Lewinsky wouldn’t have been brought up by the host.
