Christina Ricci, Owen Benjamin end their engagement
June 4th, 2009 - 4:09 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Jun 4 (ANI): American actress Christina Ricci and her boyfriend actor Owen Benjamin have reportedly ended their engagement.
A source close to the couple revealed that everything had been fine with the two, but after they got into a fight, they decided to break off their engagement.
“Owen had a birthday party this past Sunday, and everything seemed fine. Sometime after, they got into a fight and decided to re-evaluate things. (Then) the engagement was off,” People magazine quoted the source as saying.
But another source close to the actress has revealed that the pair had called off the engagement before last week.
“They really are still close,” the source said.
“They talk almost every day. It was a very mature decision and they both felt good about it. They’re definitely still friends,” the source added.
Ricci, 29, met Benjamin in 2008 on the set of their film ‘All’s Faire in Love’ and went public with their relationship in October, followed by their engagement in March.
A representative for Ricci had no comment on the matter. (ANI)
