Christina DeBarge aka Kristina DeBarge is making a huge splash in the music scene with her debut release. The new kid on the block is rocking the charts with her debut single, with the audience and critic both swooning over her. The talented singer had also made an appearance on June 18 night on the episode of “So You Think You Can Dance” which gets aired on FOX.
In the already female dominated music arena, the new singers Christina DeBarge and Jessie James are have stepped in very deftly. The arrival of the newbies have assured a guaranteed action overdose for fans for the summer of 2009. The music scene is going to be rocking with the emergence of the new ear candies.
Christina’s song “Goodbye” is very poppy in nature and has the audience attention drawn mainly to the ‘na na na’ part and the ‘hey hey’ part, which gets the listeners on their feet and instill in them to groove and sing along with her. Everyone loves the ‘na na’ and the ‘hey hey’ cliched phrases in songs, no matter how many times it pops up everywhere.
Christina DeBarge is a part of the “American Juniors” alum. The talented singer hails from the legendary DeBarge family that had hogged a major chunk of the limelight in music in the 1980s. Her family name is enough to draw a lot of attention and expectation to her. The Michigan based group of “DeBarge” had enjoyed immense popularity and fanfare in the period between 1979- 1989. The group was most acclaimed for their deftness in soul, funk, R&B and in the later part, gospel.
