The movie releases towards the end of November and the web is abuzz with the trailer of the flick. The film also stars the yesteryear’s pop icon, Cher. In the movie Cher acts as the mentor of Christina Aguilera, a waitress who wants to be a burlesque dancer. The film shows the rise to stardom of the ordinary waitress with high ambitions.

Burlesque is Christina Aguilera’s first film and some of the clips released from the film show that the audience can expect some steamy scenes from the singer. One scene shows the actress being kissed passionately by her co-star Cam Gigandet. One source from Hollywood has expressed shock at Christina Aguilera’s recent weight gain. The source said that it was more shocking as Christina Aguilera was seen a her fittest best during the shooting of the film which had a lot of choreography. Christine Aguilera had been in the news after she lost a shocking 40 pounds post delivering her baby. She also posed for a magazine after losing her weight and became an icon for moms who want to shed weight after pregnancy.
