September 29, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Christina Aguilera is noted for changing her looks along with her chart busting hit songs. It is quite impossible to forget the ‘Dirty’ chap days entirely. However, Aguilera managed to surprise even the staunchest of her fans, last weekend at the Resnick Pavilion, Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday.

The newly acquired curves of the 29 year old Christina who is also the mother of a one year old kid, were evident as she proceeded to show them off by wearing a blush colored Atelier Versace halter necked gown. Her look resembled that of a golden goddess as she drew the attention of one and all looking extremely beautiful with her long curly tresses artfully designed to fall on her perfectly tanned golden shoulders. This was in sharp contrast to the look that she had sported earlier in June when she appeared in an all black outfit that revealed a svelte figure. She had been promoting her ‘Bionic’ album then.

British Mail quotes a source who says that it’s surprising to see Aguilera putting on the pounds on her frame so quickly. She has, in fact, been doing dancing as well as high energy activities for the upcoming ‘Burlesque’ which is scheduled to be released in November. The entire movie is about choreography and Aguilera had certainly remained active throughout so it comes as a surprise to see her gaining so much of weight.

Aguilera, the pop star certainly knows how to draw attention to herself but the softer side that she revealed this weekend far outshines the bolder impressions that this Grammy winner usually makes.
