New Delhi, Jan 1 (ANI): Christina Aguilera has admitted that she has a newfound respect for her body after giving birth.

The singer gave birth to son Max Liron, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, in January, reports China Daily.

But Aguilera has admitted that she was amazed to experience how much the female anatomy could endure during labour.

“I really have a newfound respect for the female body after going through this process, Aguilera said.

I still have a way to go with losing the weight but I will start working out and boxing soon, but I”m not going to go crazy about it,” she added.

The ”Dirrty” singer also revealed how she lost her post-pregnancy pounds.

“I had to really curb my love for junk food. And it’’s not just about looking good. I don”t want to get heart disease or cancer. It’’s important to take care of yourself - especially as a woman,” she added. (ANI)
