Nov. 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “New Moon” star Christian Serratos has agreed to shed all her inhibitions- and clothes too, for a photo-shoot for the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals. The photo is already doing the rounds via the internet, thanks to her Twitter account. The photo-shoot is a part of PETA’s latest advertisement against animal poaching, aptly captioned “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”

The poster shows Serratos standing next to a tree, stripped down to her birthday suit. On the tree is curved the message to all people saying that animals are electrocuted, beaten or drowned to death and often skinned while they are alive to obtain the fur. The advertisement is pretty gory and is set in the dark, misty environment of a forest, not unlike the atmosphere she worked in in the movie “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.” There is no news as of yet as to when and where the advertisement is going to run, but there are speculations that it would be run in the opening of “The Twilight Saga; New Moon” on November 20.

Christian Serratos is already promoting the message via her Twitter account. She uploaded the picture, with a little personal message, in which she asked everyone not to eat or wear the animals. Last year, she had given an interview to PETA, in which she had said that she found it “frivolous” of people to kill an animal to wear fur, when one can so easily wear something that is fake but looks real. At 19, Christina is the youngest star to pose naked for a PETA anti-fur campaign.
