London, July 8 (IANS) Christian Bale found he was actually a brooding, angry superhero in “Batman Begins” because his tight-fitting costume made him feel caged and restricted. Contactmusic.com reports that Bale insisted on making some adjustments to the batsuit for his second Batman movie “The Dark Knight” and he began with the headgear.
He revealed that his “Batman Begins” costume was topped off with a helmet that felt like “I was going scuba diving”.
He said: “You couldn’t move your head, you were bolted in. It was a vice on my skull, so I had a headache the whole damn time. I used it - Batman’s supposed to be full of anger and rage and I didn’t have to act that.”
