Chris Martin had revealed some time ago that he is in talks for writing songs for Natalia Imgruglia and he had promised that they were certainly among his best rated ones till date. The song, tentatively titled “Want” has since then been long awaited by his fans eagerly. “Want” was touted to be featured in a Coldplay album in the initial period, however, seems like it will now be a part of Martin’s ex-girlfriend, Natalia Imbruglia’s album. A reason to be a little disappointed by all Coldplay and Chris Martin fans, they would not be able to see their favorite band perform the number.

Imbruglia’s forthcoming album, “Come To Life” is set to make its appearance in the market around the 15th of October. The announcement regarding “Want” being a part of “Come To Life” had been made by Martin in the month of March when, in an interview, he had almost regrettably revealed letting go of the song. He had then said, “A bit annoyingly we’ve given Natalie the best Coldplay song of all time. Half of me wishes we still had it. But she sounds brilliant on it.”

That it is an out an out pop genre based song is absolutely evident from the lyrics which goes somewhat like this, “Take a good look at what you gave up because a heart can’t be unbroken/ Baby the memories are all you get now and I’m moving on.”

Martin is going to be providing the back up vocals with, “All that you want, I hope you get all that you want, cause I didn’t.”
