July 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The famous music reality show of Fox Channel “American Idol” season 10 preliminary audition dates are drawing closer and the channel is still to find a replacement for the show’s latest departing judge Simon Cowell. A reputed media source says that “Wicked Game” fame Chris Isaak is the front runner to become the judge for this season. However, neither the channel nor the singer has confirmed anything to the public.

The media source also says that Chris Isaak has met the Fox officials twice in recent times and the buzz goes around that he will be the judge for this year’s “American Idol”. There were many names that came forward as the contenders for the “American Idol” judge’s seat but it could very well be Chris Isaak to have outshined the others like Bret Michaels, Harry Connick Jr. and Donald Trump in the race. The network’s entertainment chairman Peter Rice said that he expects that the new “American Idol” judge would join the audition roadshow by early September this year.

Chris Isak is known for his shows like “Cold Case”, “Smallville” and he has also hosted shows like “The Chris Isaak Show” which was liked by the audience. The media and the audience are still speculating about the future judge panel of “American Idol” but it is up to the channel to decide their favorite choice. The channel has not declared anything and the spokesperson of Fox channel said that no decision is imminent yet but it is expected that the name of the judge will be announced soon.
