Oct 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The very first glimpse of Chris Evans in the iconic avatar of Captain America, has been released today by “Entertainment Weekly” magazine, all over USA. Although the movie will be hitting the halls on July 22, 2011, the new look of “Captain America: The First Avenger” is no more a mystery, as the latest issue of “Entertainment Weekly” has just come into the market.

Chris Evans is sporting a very heroic and rough and tough look, in a blue shirt with a star in front. In the cover of the magazine, Chris Evans is seen donning a metallic Armour and a bright shield which is colored in metallic silver, red and blue. He looks tougher than never before in the new avatar, where he is just about to bring the popular comic super hero on screen. However, Chris Evans says that he was “almost too chicken ” to play captain America, as he had no clue about how to portray the character. He reportedly turned down the the offer six times, before finally signing it. Even the director, Joe Johnston was initially hesitant about signing him, as Chris Evans has already created a tough on-screen action hero image in “Fantastic Four”. But no one can avoid what has been stored by the destiny, and Chris Evans started working for the film with a whole lot of apprehension and fear. However, when he first wore Captain America’s suit, he realized that his experience would not be that bad. He slowly became so much engrossed in the movie, that the latest reports have said that he will also star in its sequel “The Avengers”, which will be released in 2012.

The movie is much about patriotism, centered around the period of World War II. However, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige says that the nationalistic tones will be moderated when the film will be released in foreign countries. It will be renamed as “The First Avenger.”
