Chris Daughtry Performs “September”, Urges Audiences To Stay “Hungry”

New York, May 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “American Idol ” on Wednesday witnessed a home coming performance by Chris Daughtry. Reportedly, Chris Daughtry performed “September” which happens to be one of the biggest hits from his album “Leave This Town”. Right after his performance he was approached by Ryan Seacrest for an interview where Chris Daughtry told Ryan Seacrest that each and every audience in American Idol should always stay “Hungry” wanting for more. He believes that this shall drive the participants of American Idol to give in their best in the competition.
Talking about his sophomore release from 2009, Chris Daughtry said that it was really a homecoming experience on the sets American Idol where he had actually started off his journey. The way the singer sees it, the particular track “September” is a tale of his childhood and talks about the town where he grew up. The song is one of few to which he could always relate like none other. Chris Daughtry said that the notes of the song “September” uplifts him from this world and transports him back to those days of childhood which according to him were a bunch of “Amazing” moments which will never leave his mind.
Following Chris Daughtry was Jon Bon Jovi and the American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino who also performed for the crowd on Wednesday. Jon Bon Jovi performed “Superman Tonight” which happens to be the second single from his album “The Circle” which was released last year. When Ryan Seacrest asked Jon Bon Jovi about his and his band’s success, the singer replied that it was a mix and match of “Hard Work”, “Good Luck” and “Good Friends”. Without any one of them, things would have been much different.
