Los Angeles, July 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chris Brown has joined the “planking” team on Twitter. The singer recently posted a picture of himself precariously balanced on a shelving unit with the word “plank!!!” written over the image.

Several celebrities including Justin Bieber and Demi Moore have in the past posted their Plank images. The craze has already cost a 20-year-old Australian man his life when he lost his balance trying to do the trick on a balcony. Another person got himself in trouble when he tried to “plank” and post an image. He tried to use a police car for his trick.

Moore, being aware of the plight of the Australian man, urged her fans and followers to exercise caution when they “plank”. The actress recently posted a picture of her aunt and uncle balanced on a chair.

After posting the pictures, Moore added the words “Fun is good but let’s stay away from dangerous stupid!”

Canadian teenage singer Bieber joined the craze when he posted an image of himself “planking” on a yacht with the words “Me and @Diggy_Simmons #plankin #schwag.”

Opinions are divided concerning celebrities joining the plank craze. While some say the practice is dangerous and should not be encouraged by celebrities, others say the danger of the practice has been overrated.
