Aug 5 (IBNS) Chris Brown (20) is all set to face the sentence for today for his “attacks” on Rihanna, but according to the latter’s lawyer, she won’t be there.

What is in place is a level one protective restraining order against the R’n'B singer in place, and there will be no changes to the order when he goes to court.

Rihanna’s attorney Donald Etra said: A level one order is sufficient for my client. The order will require Chris to not molest, annoy, or harass Rihanna. Since the inception of the case, we’ve always believed that that’s the only order required.

According to the order, Chris is still required to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna at all times, unless they both appear at an industry event, (such as the Grammy’s or MTV Awards), in which case, he has to stay at least 10 yards away from her.

His expected sentence is reported to be five years of probation, 180 days of community service and one full year of domestic violence classes.

Meanwhile, Chris is set to make his first TV appearance to talk about the ‘incident’ with Rihanna on Larry King’s show after his court appearance.

Brown yesterday told fans he was ashamed of his behavior towards the Umbrella singer (21) who suffered facial injuries.

Expressing his “deepest regret” over the fight, he bears “full responsibility”.

Brown said: I’ve told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today I’m truly, truly sorry I wasn’t able to handle the situation differently and better.
