July 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Shahrukh is taking all possible steps to make his upcoming film Ra One a super hit. After signing Senegalese-American R&B singer Akon for the film, now the superstar has convinced the martial arts specialist Chinese-American actor Tom Wu for acting in Ra One.

Known for his expertise in martial arts, Tom Wu will look after the action department. There was a buzz that action hero Jackie Chan was earlier approached for this role in this action film from SRK’s home production. Earlier, Tom has acted in films like Shanghai Knights, Batman Begins, Revolver, and Tomb Raider II.

An excited Shahrukh tweeted saying, “Tom is a very humble man and is such a sport. It is really nice to have him in our team”.

Shahrukh Khan, who plays a super hero in Ra One, is not keeping well. On the microblogging site twitter, he posted, “The antibiotics have taken out all the energy in me. Throat is getting better now so I can hopefully report on the sets to make some noise to feel important there”.

The film stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead and Arjun Rampal will appear in another important role. Ra One is likely to hit the theaters in 2011.
